What should I use for virus protection
ReplyDeleteAny news of Printer Spool problems in Win10 being resolved? I am unable to start or stop my Print Spool service. It does nothing so I cannot install my printer. I reverted back to Win7 to get the printer installed. Now that it is installed not sure if it will stop working again once going back to Win10.

DeletePerhaps you may have tried this already but if not perhaps you can install the spooling service under win 10 but run as WINDOWS 7 service. WIN10 has the option to execute code with older OS version. I never tried it but you can do the research and decide worth the effort or not.

ReplyDeleteIs anoybody experiencing random spinning to hdd to the point the computer becomes unresponsive for few mins until the spinning stops.
ReplyDeleteI am not able to isolate the issue, tried safe mode, clean boot, uninstalled all 3rd apps and still it continues. I am just short of reformatting. Wanted to ask the ?? before reinstalling windows.

ReplyDeleteUpdate - I finally resolved my issue of spinning disk. Tried everything under the sun without much success so I eventually recovered the system image to last known good image. this is the easiest way and surprisingly I did not loose much in terms of programs or data. I think this is the easiest resolution. Thanks
